Technical Briefs

The technical briefs are a valuable maintenance tool for homeowners interested in specific information & recommendations.

Dave Steers prepared the folder, a composite of 6 individual briefs on masonry, fences and gates, exterior paint, windows, roofs and gutters and heating and cooling (combined), and garage doors. 

The information was compiled from neighborhood workshops held in 2002 and in-depth research in each subject to:

• define how a given design/construction element appears in Arapahoe Acres
• review potential causes and sources of damage
• outline a program of home inspection
• recommend methods of repair
•, discuss maintenance issues
• provide contractor references.
