Building Community and Arapahoe Acres is the first post-World War II residential subdivision listed as a historic district in the National Register of Historic Places. Constructed between 1949 and 1957, it is a community of 124 unique, modern homes. A variety of natural stone, brick, block, wood and glass join expressively, unified by an earthtone palette and horizontal forms. |
